Things to Know

Attire:  Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily stretch in.  Shoes are taken off when you enter the studio.  Please do not wear perfume or heavy jewelry. 

 

What will you need to bring:  Props are provided so you do not need to bring anything.  Feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer.  Some props for your home practice will be available for sale at the studio.

Special Needs:  Inform the teacher of any health problems or injuries that may be a concern to you.  Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to your first class to discuss special concerns with the teacher.

Meals:  It is recommended to avoid eating one to two hours prior to class.

Class Courtesy:  As a courtesy to your fellow students and your teacher, please arrive on time.  If you are late, enter and quietly set up your mat.  Turn all cell phones off or on silence mode inside the studio.  Please refrain from wearing any cologne/perfume/essential oils/perfumed soaps/shampoos to class, honoring those with allergies.  Thank you!

After Class:  Drink plenty of water after your yoga class.  This helps flush toxins from your body as they are released through your practice.
